I. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
1.Purpose and Scope: These Service Terms (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) aim to clarify the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between ethanclassics e-commerce platform (hereinafter referred to as “Platform” or “we”) and users (including buyers, sellers, browsers, etc., hereinafter referred to as “you” or “User”). These Terms apply to your use of all services provided by the Platform, including but not limited to browsing, purchasing, transacting, reviewing products, after-sales services, and participating in platform activities.
2.Acceptance of Terms: By accessing, registering, or using the Platform services, you indicate that you have fully read, understood, and agreed to accept all contents of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should immediately stop using the Platform services.
II. User Registration and Account Management
1.Registration Eligibility: Users must have full civil capacity and be able to bear legal liabilities arising from the use of Platform services. Minors must obtain the consent and guidance of their guardians when using Platform services.
2.Registration Information: Users shall provide true, accurate, and complete personal information for registration, including but not limited to name, contact details, etc. Users shall ensure the validity of registration information and update it promptly when changes occur.
3.Account Security: Users shall keep their account passwords and personal information safe, and shall not transfer, lend, or use their accounts for illegal activities. Users should change their passwords regularly and avoid using simple or easily crackable passwords. If an account appears abnormal, users should immediately contact Platform customer service.
4.Account Cancellation: Users have the right to apply for account cancellation, subject to the Platform’s cancellation conditions and following the Platform’s process. After account cancellation, the Platform will cease providing related services and delete or anonymize user personal information (except as otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations).
III. Product Transactions and Services
1.Product Information: Merchants shall ensure that product descriptions are true, accurate, complete, with clear images, and reasonably priced. Merchants shall comply with the Platform’s regulations on product listings, pricing, promotions, etc., and shall not engage in false advertising or mislead consumers.
2.Transaction Process:
User Order Placement: Users shall place orders after carefully verifying the product information, price, quantity, etc., to ensure no errors. Payment: Users shall make payments in accordance with the payment methods specified by the Platform. Orders become effective upon successful payment. Merchant Shipment: Merchants shall ship the products within the specified time after the order becomes effective and provide valid logistics information. User Receipt and Inspection: Users shall inspect the products promptly upon receipt. If there are quality issues or discrepancies with the description, users shall submit after-sales applications within the time frame specified by the Platform.
3.After-Sales Services: The Platform provides after-sales services such as returns, exchanges, repairs, etc. Specific rules are jointly formulated and published by the Platform and merchants. Users shall abide by the Platform’s after-sales service policies and exercise their rights reasonably. Merchants shall actively respond to user after-sales applications and handle them within the specified time.
IV. Privacy Protection
Privacy Policy: The Platform respects and protects users’ personal privacy rights. We will collect, use, and protect users’ personal information in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and the Platform’s privacy policy. Without users’ consent, the Platform will not disclose user information to third parties (except as otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations). The Platform will take reasonable technical and management measures to protect the security of users’ personal information.
V. Violation Handling
1.Violations: Including but not limited to false transactions, malicious reviews, posting illegal information, abusing platform resources, etc.
2.Handling Measures: For violations, the Platform has the right to take one or more of the following handling measures:
Warning: Verbal or written warnings for violations. Function Restriction: Restrict or prohibit users from using part or all of the Platform’s functions. Account Freezing: Suspend users’ account access rights. Deposit Deduction: For merchant violations, the Platform has the right to deduct their deposit as a penalty or compensation. Termination of Cooperation: For serious violations, the Platform has the right to terminate cooperation with users. Legal Pursuit: For violations constituting crimes, the Platform will report to relevant authorities and pursue legal
Ⅵ. Disclaimer
1.Information accuracy: The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of all product information, and users should make their own judgments and bear transaction risks.
2.Force Majeure: The platform shall not be liable for any service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure (such as natural disasters, government actions, hacker attacks, etc.).
3.Third party services: The platform may access third-party services (such as payment services, logistics services), and users should comply with their service terms when using third-party services. The platform does not assume any joint liability for third-party services.
Ⅶ. Dispute Resolution
1.Negotiation resolution: Any disputes arising from or related to this clause between the two parties shall be resolved through friendly negotiation first.
2.Legal approach: If negotiation fails, either party has the right to bring a lawsuit to the people’s court with jurisdiction over the location of the platform.
Ⅷ. Dispute Resolution
Clause modification: The platform has the right to modify this clause according to business development needs and changes in laws and regulations. The modified clause will be published on the platform and take effect. Users should check regularly
